HARM REDUCTION & DRUG POLICY REFORM IN THE SOUTH

What does harm reduction look like in the North Carolina and the South? What strategies have yielded the best results here? What’s the best way to move harm reduction and drug policy reform forward in our region? What are some positive steps we can take to build support for harm reduction and drug policy reform? How do we build practical skills and support networks in our own communities? How do we ensure a critical mass of folks access free or low-cost health services and non-coercive treatment?

Coordinators of this track are Robert Childs and Margaret Bordeaux.

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

Tracks are looking for hands-on workshops, strategy sessions, and meet-ups that share stories, skills and best practices. Your session/workshop should be engaging and interactive. Including people who are direct stakeholders or who are directly impacted by the issue strongly aligns with Free Movement's goals of building grassroots power, and should be encompassed as often as possible.

Contact info@workingnarratives.org with questions and comments.

Sessions must be accessible to all bodies, genders, and ages by creating a space that is inclusive and welcoming.
